Ligue 1, Stade rennais - Caen, Wednesday, 19:00 CET. A major doubt before the home game against Stade Malherbe de Caen, Kader Mangane is finally included in the squad published by Frédéric Antonetti. But his presence at kick-off remains uncertain.
Despite twisting his left knee in Valenciennes last Sunday, Kader Mangane could finally start the game against Caen, this Wednesday evening at the Route de Lorient. The Stade Rennes captain is indeed part of the nineteen-man squad for this game.
Nineteen players for eighteen places on the match-sheet, as the tall Senegalese defender remains very doubtful. If he was to miss that game, Frédéric Antonetti is expected to start with a centre back pair Boye – Kana-Biyik, already tested against Lens (2-0) and in Brest (0-2). If Mangane was to forfeit for this game, the Rennes manager has also called-up the young Dimitri Foulquier, who had already been included in the squad for the trip to Monaco.
The rest of the squad remains unchanged, as the injured players are still unable to return.
In Caen, Franck Dumas can rely on most of his squad, except the notable absences of Grégory Tafforeau and Grégory Proment. Suspended in Lens last week-end, Sambou Yatabaré returns in the Caen squad.
