Ligue 1, Auxerre - Stade Rennais, Sunday 17:00 CET. Left to rest against Celtic on Thursday, Yann M’Vila returns to the Rennes squad, as well as Georges Mandjeck. This week-end it is Yacine Brahimi, still short of form, and Youssouf Hadji who are rested.
Slowly but surely, Frédéric Antonetti is recovering something of a complete squad. The Corsican manager, who has recorded the return from injuries of Mangane and Brahimi against Lorient and of Boukari against Celtic, only misses Boye – injured to the thigh – and Apam – long injured- and his able to continue his rotation.
Rested in the Europa League on Thursday, Yann M’Vila and Georges Mandjeck are therefore returning. The former should return to a starting position against Auxerre while the latter, lined-up at centre-back recently, is paying for the return of the centre-defence pair of Mangane and Kana-Biyik but could play at midfield.
In attack, Youssouf Hadji has not been called for the trip to Auxerre. The French-Moroccan played the whole game on Thursday and is rested, just like Yacine Brahimi. The latter, back after a long injury and in the starting XI against the Celtic, admitted that he isn’t yet at his best after the game.
