Ligue 1, Stade rennais - Bordeaux, Saturday at 7pm. Suspended, along with Kana-Biyik, Victor Hugo Montaño is one of the most notable absent players of Rennes’ squad playing against Bordeaux this weekend. The Colombian striker should be substituted by John Verhoek, back from injury.
For the game at home against Bordeaux, Frédéric Antonetti has a few players back from injuries. Despite Montaño and Kana-Biyik suspensions, Rennes’ coach can count on John Verhoek, back from ankle injury, along with Abdul Camara.
According to L’Équipe, the Dutch striker should be in the starting team substituting the Colombian player on Saturday night, supported by Boukari on the left side and Kembo on the right one.
Suspended against Monaco, Samuel Souprayen and Tongo Doumbia are also back in the squad, leaving on the side two young players, Dimitri Foulquier and Kamal Issah. With Camara also coming back this week, the attacking player Frank Julienne is out of the team too.
Doubtful this week, the Norwegian player Alexander Tettey is all very well amongst the squad selected by Frédéric Antonetti. Also according to L’Équipe, he is competing against Doumbia for a starting spot in the midfield with M’Vila and Dalmat.
On Bordeaux’ side, Jean Tigana is glad to see his left back Benoît Trémoulinas back in the squad, absent for the last two games, along with Jussiê, suspended last weekend. Bordeaux’ coach will only have two missing players this week, Gouffran and Ayité.
