Ligue 1, Montpellier - Stade Rennais, Sunday at 17:00. For his team’s third match in eight days, Frédéric Antonetti decided to leave Stéphane Dalmat and Vincent Pajot to rest. Both midfielders as well as Yacine Brahimi have been left out of the eighteen-player squad which will travel to Hérault on Saturday.
Frédéric Antonetti had chosen to take an enlarged group of twenty one players to Serbia. For the championship, as usual, the Rennes manager limited his squad to eighteen players, who leave Rennes this Saturday for the Hérault, where they will face Montpelier on Sunday afternoon. A squad, whose members all made the trip to Belgrade earlier this week.
Also involved in the journey to Serbia, Stéphane Dalmat and Vincent Pajot are left to rest this weekend, as well as Cheick N’Diaye, the third goalkeeper of the squad. Yacine Brahimi, still unavailable after a knock received against Rustavi on July 28th, is not in the group. On Thursday evening, talking to RMC, he showed his confidence in managing to return for the trip to Montpellier, but considered it more likely that he would join the the squad again for the return leg against the Red Star, on Thursday.
Only one difference is to be noted in comparison to the group which received the Paris SG last weekend: the presence of Kembo, who returned and played in Belgrade.
