Yesterday, Pierre Dréossi admitted that the Stade Rennais was looking for an attacking player able to play on a wing or in the centre. After explaining that the player would probably have to come from a foreign team, the Rennes general manager underlined the fact he would not recruit a player in France: “There is no player in the French league that could interest us and that we would have a possibility to recruit.”
In their Saturday edition, L’Équipe reports that the Rennes management have been contacting their Lens counterparts about forward Razak Boukari (23 y/o). Since several years, during transfer windows, his name comes back insistently as a target to reinforce the club’s attacking sector. While his direction firmly refused a transfer, it transpires that the Togolese international was interested in joining the Stade Rennais.
