In France Football last Friday, Patrick Rampillon, the Rennes Academy manager, was followed by the newspaper for 24 hours.
Amongst other things, he had much praise for youngster Wesley Saïd (1995), a pure striker playing for the club’s U17 team, best goal scorer at the last Montaigu Tournament (4 goals) and currently in a pre-selection camp with the U16 France national squad until August 26th.
"You can never be sure of anything, but this one, if he doesn’t go through, I requested to be sacked straight away… », he said with a touch of humour.
