While the Rennes goalkeeper remained on the bench, Fanni and M’Vila were both included in the starting line-up. The latter, impressive at midfield was involved in Ben Arfa’s goal setup. Replaced by Cabaye at the 74th, M’Vila certainly made a claim for the future. As for Fanni, he played the whole game at right back.
