Stade Rennes will have to do without Yacine Brahimi for yet another couple of games. The young attacking midfielder has fallen again with a thigh injury this Wednesday, after he had returned only yesterday.

According to Ouest-France’s website, Brahimi « collapsed » at the end of a « series of dribbles » and was forced to abandon the training session. The daily newspaper reported a relapse of the muscle strain to his left thigh, and his absence should be of at least four weeks.
Yet another blow for the player, who only played fifteen minutes over the last six weeks, fifteen minutes in which he experienced a first relapse, in Montpellier.

Another blow for Frédéric Antonetti too, who will be forced to pick from a reduced attacking line again when time comes to face Auxerre. To the now confirmed absence of Brahimi, must be added the suspension of Montaño and the uncertainty around Camara (back) and Kembo (thigh). Only positive news, the confirmed return of Boukari who has been training normally since yesterday.
Finally, according to L’Équipe’s web site, Stéphane Dalmat has also been forced to terminate his training session earlier after receiving a knock during a contact with a team-mate.
