Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Lyon. After a good start to the game and an early goal from Erding, Rennes was caught back in the second half, having failed to capitalise on their many dangerous opportunities to make the break. History repeats itself.
Ligue 1, Valenciennes 1 - 0 Stade Rennais. Behind from the first minutes of the game after Danic score a penalty, Rennes never seemed able to come back in a game poor both in chances and technical quality. The Bretons see their hopes to clinch a European position through the league diminish rapidly.
Ligue 1, Stade rennais 0 - 1 Toulouse. Smothered by a Toulouse team showing solid in defence and dominating at midfield, the Rouge et Noir did not show much in their show-down against a direct competitor for European places. And the Bretons were eventually hit by bad fortune, when Danzé countered an inoffensive shot by Rivière in his own goal.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Auxerre. Having gone behind early in the match, in spite of their domination, Rennes played catch-up for most of the match. They couldn’t get better than a draw, despite having a lot of chances.
Ligue 1, Lorient 0 - 2 Stade rennais. Dominated in the first half of its derby against Lorient, Stade Rennes finally left the Moustoir as winners. Thanks to the inefficiency of the Morbihannais striker in the first place, and then thanks to some clinical finishing. The Rennais are climbing up the table and back in fourth place.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Lille OSC. Rennes snatched something of a moral victory. After a very good first half hour, the Bretons received a double knock with the dismissal of Apam followed by Lille’s goal at the end of the first half, before equalising through Erding in the last minutes of regular time.
Ligue 1, Saint-Étienne 4 - 0 Stade Rennais. After a balanced first half, Rennes has completely collapsed in the second half at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, conceding three more goals. Because of a really efficient and clinical Saint-Etienne, but also of a really shaky Rennes defence.
Ligue 1, Nancy 0 - 0 Stade rennais. In difficult conditions, Stade Rennais didn’t shine but still manage to salvage a draw from their trip to Nancy. After a lively and balanced first half, the second was more difficult for the Rennais, who never managed to find a way round the Nancéiens.
Ligue 1, Stade rennais 1 - 2 Marseille. Exciting in the first half, Stade Rennais paid the strong price for its mistakes in Marseille. Not clinical enough when they could have extended their lead after Doumbia scored the opener, the Rennais then saw Marseille come back and win the game following collective mistakes by the Rouge et Noir.
Ligue 1, Caen 0 - 2 Stade Rennais. By scoring early through a genial inspiration by Kembo, Rennes had probably made half of the way at the Stade Michel d'Ornano. The Bretons would double their lead by Montaño, and managed to win in Caen for the first time in their history in Ligue 1.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 0 Bordeaux. On the verge of implosion before the game, Rennes will enter the winter break with renewed serenity after a good victory against the Girondins. Rennes, shaky in the first half, was much more enterprising in the second, thanks in part to the entrance of Brahimi at half-time.
Ligue 1, Ajaccio 1 - 0 Stade Rennais. Rennes struggles against the strugglers. Beaten by Ajaccio at the term of a very disappointing game, the Bretons – already beaten in Nice and held to a draw by Brest – are progressively losing touch with Ligue 1’s leading teams.
Ligue 1, Nice 2 - 0 Stade Rennais. Against a solid Nice team, Stade Rennes was unrecognisable this Saturday evening. Lacking inspiration, lacking fighting-spirit, the « Rouge et Noir » have known one of their very typical bad days, and were logically beaten in a game wrapped-up by Nice before the interval.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 3 - 2 Evian TG. Trailing at the interval despite scoring the first goal, Rennes finally managed to win at the end of an action-packed encounter. A really positive result for Rennes, who keeps on hanging on to the league leaders.
Ligue 1, Lyon 1 - 2 Stade Rennais. At the end of a high-quality game, Rennes finally won after trailing – for the first time in nearly two years. Making the best of a very good game, the Rennais are already making a good operation in the league standings.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Valenciennes. The story-line was so predictable: after scoring first through Kembo, Rennes had to concede the equaliser. Uninspired, looking tired, Antonetti’s men could hardly hope for anything better than a draw.
Ligue 1, Toulouse 1 - 0 Stade Rennais. Trailing after Didot opened the score on a free-kick in the first half, Rennes – playing 35 minutes with eleven men against ten – was unable to close the gap. Clumsy and lacking determination, the Rennais have also lost Kana-Biyik, who had to leave the field with an adductors injury.
Ligue 1, Auxerre 0 - 1 Stade Rennais. Without truly dominating, Stade Rennes managed a good performance on the ground of the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps. Defensively solid for once, the “Rouge et Noir” won thanks to a goal by Julien Féret at the end of the game.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 2 - 0 Lorient. At the term of a perfectly controlled game, Rennes returned to winning ways in its stadium. Never really put under pressure, applying a good pressing at midfield, Antonetti’s men managed to score this second goal they had missed so many times at the Route de Lorient in the recent weeks.
Ligue 1, Lille 2 - 0 Stade Rennais. After a dreadful first half, in which they conceded two goals, Rennes showed a better display in the second half, though failing to convert their spells of dominance into goal.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Saint-Étienne. With a victory, Rennes would have taken the leadership of Ligue 1. The target has been missed, after a lacklustre game against an opportunistic team of Saint-Etienne. Lacking initiative and creativity, the Rennais concede another draw on their home ground.
Ligue 1, Sochaux 2 - 6 Stade rennais. Conquering in attack, the Stade Rennais has beaten Sochaux with a tennis score-line at the Stade Bonal. Winning six goals to two, the Breton players had mixed feelings at half-time however, when their clumsiness in front of the goal contrasted with Sochaux’ clinical finishing.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Nancy. As it had the game in hand, Stade Rennais didn’t manage to kill the match. Leading after Montaño scored the first goal, Rennes failed to secure the lead and exposed itself to the return of a lacklustre Nancy, who equalised on a generous penalty in the last minutes of the match.
Ligue 1, Marseille 0 - 1 Stade rennais. At the end of a lively game, Stade Rennes managed to snatch victory at the Stade Vélodrome. A success due to the superb goal scored by Kembo in the last quarter of the match, but also to the many exploits of an unbeatable Costil.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 3 - 2 Caen. Comfortably leading after a well-controlled first half (3-0), Rennes gave themselves unnecessary frights in the second half by conceding twice around the hour mark. The responsibility incurs, particularly, to a completely passive defensive line.
Ligue 1, Montpellier 4 - 0 Stade Rennais. Completely outplayed by a much superior Montpellier team, Rennes conceded a heavy defeat, their first loss of the season, at La Mosson. Visibly without energy, the Bretons had barely any chances on goal and were heavily dominated throughout the game.
Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Paris SG. Dominated at firstm then dominant themselves, Rennes held Paris SG to a logic draw. Trailing, Antonetti's men equalised in the last minutes of the game through Pitroipa, whose performance in this match made up for the lacklustre performance of the rest of the attacking line.
